Sorry the Midtown Continental was so rude. As you can tell, I try to avoid the place like the plague.

Unfortunately, I don’t know many other places known for their martini-like mixtures. But there are certainly a ton of great beer and wine places, like Tria, Nodding Head, Eulogy, and Monk’s.

Wait! I just thought of a great crazy-drinks place : Jones. It’s another Stephen Starr place but it’s a little more chill than the Continental.

Until Saturday night (4/12/0 when they refused to serve my 30 year old friend because she looked under age and her Illinois driver’s license looked “fake.” And then we were escorted out. The bartender and bouncer were incredibly rude. No more Continental for us…can you recommend another place to hang out and get great drinks?
