Enough blathering about Philadelphia restaurants and meager cooking skills! Here, in no particular order, are some of the things I make:
Shrimp, Chicken and Sausage Gumbo
Broccoli di Rabe Stuffed Bread
Chicken Cacciatore - a site favorite!
Blue Cheese & Caramelized Onion Squares
Tilapia with Balsamic Butter Sauce
Stuffed Peppers - a site favorite!

Do you have a recipe for Gnocci Profumati ala Pizza and Brew?

Well, I don’t know exactly how Pizza & Brew (a New York Italian joint) does it, but this is the closest recipe I can find. This is assuming you have already-made gnocchi.
A little warning: this is not from an American website, so the metric system is in full effect.
GNOCCHI PROFUMATI
Preparation time: 10 min.
Cooking time: 15 min.
Ingredients:
- 450 grams of potato dumplings
- 200 grams of Taleggio (an Italian cheese)
- 1 cup cream
- Stem of chives
- Salt
- Black pepper
Directions
1. Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water, then drain when they rise to the surface.
2. In the meantime, melt the cheese in pieces in a saucepan with the cream. Then add the chives to season. Add gnocchi when cheese is completely melted and mixed with the cream. Mix in salt and a good ground black pepper. Buon appetito!
